Well what a crazy past few days it's been. Kaylee was sick and a second visit to the doctor's office finally prevailed a true dx. Which was my first assumption. Not nec strep throat but a sinus infection. So she's on antibiotics and is finally feeling herself again. Thank goodness!

Yesterday I drove north to Carlsbad to have lunch with my mom but before that I took kaylee to the sketchers in the outlet mall there to buy her new shoes. Of course I go anywhere near vista....and there working are two kids I used to go to HS with both hang out or used to hang out with my x. Awkward but made it out ok and kaylee with two new pairs of shoes. Maybe some leads on where the x is to see if we can't have him served papers for the adoption coming up. That'll happen this summer thankfully.

Was a nice quick lunch with my mom and a good rest of my weekend. More impending furniture shopping for a new dining set and cabinetry probably at ikea. I'm looking so forward to it.
